WHAT TO EXPECT
You are welcome here! At RCC it doesn’t matter what you look like, where you’re from, or where you are on your spiritual journey. We want to be a safe place where you can learn, grow, and ask questions. We are people who are struggling with things and who aren’t perfect. If you are looking for a church where you want to feel safe to grow and learn and ask questions then you are looking for RCC.
Below are some things you can expect when you join us.
WHAT WE DO
Services
We meet for about an hour every week for a time of worship, communion, and teaching. Each week the teaching time is tied to a theme that usually lasts three to six weeks. We study the Bible, why it’s relevant, and how we can apply it to our lives. We’ve been accused of using too much scripture if that were possible.
Lead Pastor
Nathan Freeman is our lead pastor. He’s funny, authentic, and down-to-earth. He will also wear any costume if it means making an impact for the Kingdom.
Worship Music
We worship God through music at all of our services. Our services are contemporary but we don’t shy away from traditional songs from time to time. Learn more about RCC Worship!
LifeGroups
Small groups of eight to fifteen people, we call LifeGroups, are the lifeblood of RCC. These groups get together weekly to study the Bible, ask questions, encourage each other and pray together. If you’ve been to RCC for more than a couple of weeks we’d like to invite you to check out Growth Track and then Join a Group.
PHYSICAL CAMPUS
What to Wear
Come as you are! If you wear jeans and a t-shirt, you’ll fit right in. For the most part, we dress casually, but occasionally you’ll spot one of our pastors wearing a sport coat or collared shirt.
Where to Park
Our parking team is top-notch and excited to welcome and guide you safely to a spot as close to the entrance as possible. If it’s your first time, we encourage you to turn on your flashers to be directed to a guest parking spot. Accessible parking is available as well.
Hospitality
We know that arriving early isn’t always possible, especially with kids, but if you have a few minutes to spare before service, stop by the Welcome Desk to get more information about upcoming events and ways to get involved.
Communion
Communion is offered weekly at RCC as an act of worship. Pre-packaged cups with bread and juice are available as you enter the Worship Center. The order of our services changes regularly, but we always pause for a moment to reflect and take communion as a church family.
Kids
RCC Kids from birth through grade five can learn about Jesus as part of our Kids Ministry. Our nursery and toddler room are staffed by an amazing team who will love and care for your child while you are in service. Elementary kids have a large group gathering with worship and teaching and then break into smaller, grade-specific groups for additional learning and discussion.
Students
RCC Students is designed to help middle and high school students connect to Christ and each other. At RCC, we believe it’s important for students to worship with their families on Sunday mornings and during our weekday services. Student-specific programming is available on Sunday evenings and throughout the week.
RCC ONLINE
Interaction
All of our online gatherings are attended by members of RCC who will use the chat feature to welcome you and answer any questions you have. If you need prayer or would like to speak with a pastor you can make those requests directly through the online platforms.
Communion
Communion is an important part of all our services whether in-person or online. Even if you can’t join us on campus we will have a few minutes of reflection and communion time during our online services. We encourage you to grab whatever you have available at home – crackers, bread, juice – and join our church family for communion.
