OUTREACH & MISSIONS

THE CHURCH BODY is designed to have many parts.  Through talents, resources, and time, RCC is enabled to impact people in our community, country, and around the world for Jesus Christ. We are called to be on a mission for God and to live out His love for ALL people. The RCC Outreach & Missions team does this in the following ways:

DISCOVER the truths of our faith and live it out in practical ways – today and every day.

CONFRONT indifference toward the hurting and poor because they are real people who are dearly loved by God.

SPREAD the message of hope and possibility by celebrating progress, sharing encouragement, and challenging low expectations.

STRIVE to live the True Fast of Isaiah in acts of personal sacrifice. Authentic action in whatever way we can.

INVITE others to join us so that we, together, might “spend ourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed.” (Isaiah 58:10)

WE NEED YOU!

Participation and service are our DNA at RCC. We would love for you to join us as we live out God’s love for all people, impact the community around us and across the world, and share the greatest message of our time.

Service Opportunities

School Outreach

Each fall, RCC works with local school administrators to provide back-to-school and classroom supplies to help children in need and ensure the best possible start to the new year.  In addition to the supplies, RCC schedules a ‘work day’ and provides the manpower and labor for the necessary projects the school may request assistance with regarding their campus or buildings.

Extracurricular Small Groups

Every year at local public schools, RCC has been given the opportunity to provide extracurricular, faith-based instruction that engages middle and high school students to be leaders in their school and community by embracing and representing Biblically-based high moral and ethical values.

Food & Friends is an outreach that offers a free family-style meal, served weekly, to help nourish the body and soul of Clay county.
