Event Details

Journey to the Nativity is an outdoor guided walking tour that brings to life the story of Christ’s birth with live acting scenes.  The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, with guests traveling in groups through the experience.
We strive to keep wait times to a minimum and provide live Christmas music and entertainment for guests awaiting the Nativity experience. At the end of the tour, you are invited to enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, and warm fellowship.
Please note that wait times vary depending on your time of arrival and the number of groups in the queue.

*The guided tour is a walking path and is not wheelchair accessible.

Parking

Upon arrival, please park on Radar Road at Grace Anglican or Thunderbolt Park.  Golf carts are available to take you to the worship center entrance.

Birth – 4th grade

RCC Kids is a program for kids to experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way through an engaging bible-based curriculum. We believe that no one is too young to have a personal relationship with Christ. RCC Kids aims to create a balanced atmosphere of fun and faith where kids can learn about God, grow in a relationship with Jesus, and connect with their own community.  Our teachers are excited each week to share the joy of living out biblical teachings and encouraging our RCC Kids to do the same.

FIVE6 is a special ministry just for preteens to help ease them out of elementary and into junior high at a comfortable pace.

A preteen ministry can be a very powerful place for upper-elementary kids to grow in their faith and be stretched a little more than they ever have before. Preteens think differently, act differently, relate differently, and learn differently. Spiritually they’re ready for something deeper than children’s ministry but aren’t quite ready to be exposed to some of the tough truths of youth ministry.

Preteens need a place where people understand their unique needs and cater ministry to their abilities. They need a ministry that helps them transition from children’s ministry to junior high ministry— not in a one-time event, but in a two-year transitional period. They need leaders who structure ministry that builds a bridge to the next step of their lives and faith journeys.

WHY WE GIVE

We want to be a people that worship God not only with our words and songs but also with our financial resources. It is not just a biblical command, it is a joy and an honor to sow some of our resources back into the Kingdom of God. By joyfully giving what God puts on your heart to give (2 Corinthians 9:6-8), we get to partner with God in what he is doing in our community and around the world!

FAQs

_HACK_DEFAULT_CLOSED_
How are my tithes and offerings used?

All tithes and offerings go to the general fund for River Christian Church. This fund provides support for all ministries of the church as well as support for our many local and global strategic partners.

Will I receive a contribution statement from RCC?

Yes! We send contribution statements for the previous year via email or regular mail to the email or street address on file no later than January 31 of each year. If you have moved or changed email addresses, let us know by completing the form here, selecting Giving as the topic, and entering your address in the Message field.

Can I view my giving history online?
Yes! Click here to review and change donations. If it’s your first time logging in, you will need to create a username and password.
Can I use my debit or credit card?

Yes, this is possible, but the overall impact of your tithes and offerings is reduced since RCC covers the fees charged for the processing of credit card donations. If it’s all the same for you, we would prefer you use your bank account to avoid additional fees.

Are fees charged for giving online?

As the donor, you will not pay any fees with an online gift. However, the church does incur fees for processing. It is most cost-effective for the church if online tithes and offerings are set up as automatic bank account withdrawal transactions rather than credit or debit cards. The church pays fees equal to 2.9% of the donated amount for a credit or debit card gift.

Can I use my bank's online bill pay system?

Yes, this is essentially the same as mailing a check. Please use the address above and, if required by your bank, your phone number as your account number.
