Mentoring of Moms (MOMs) is a ministry for moms with children of all ages. The ministry is based on Titus 2:4 and challenges women to encourage, mentor, and come alongside each other as they grow in their relationships with God, their husbands, and their children. Through Biblical instruction, small group discussion, and fellowship, MOMs is a place for women to connect, learn, and grow.

Real Women, Real Faith

Life-Changing Stories From the Bible For Women Today

Join us this fall for volume 1 of a transformative small group Bible study that explores the lives of six women from Old Testament Scripture whose stories still speak powerfully today. Our time together each week includes a short video segment and guided group discussion—perfect for building connection and growing in faith together.

Each session focuses on a different woman and the life-changing lessons her journey uncovers. Volume 1 familiarizes us with these women of the Old Testament:

  • Eve – Discover how to find lasting contentment by clinging to God’s truth (Lysa TerKeurst)
  • Rebekah – Break free from cultural stereotypes and embrace your God-given identity (Jonalyn Fincher)
  • Leah – Learn to overcome rejection and insecurity through God’s love (Naomi Zacharias)
  • Hannah – Surrender your struggles and find peace in the waiting (Amena Brown)
  • Abigail – Navigate conflict and confrontation with wisdom and grace (Elisa Morgan)
  • Gomer – Experience the beauty of God’s unconditional love and forgiveness (Jeanne Stevens)

Whether you’re new to Bible study or looking to go deeper, these six sessions offer relevant insights, encouragement, and inspiration for women in every season. We can’t wait to see you!

Message From MOMs Leadership

Hello, amazing ladies!!! Welcome to the MOMs fall registration. We are excited to meet with you and dive into this amazing study together.

Maureen Knotts

Maureen Knotts has been married to her husband Joe for 28 wonderful years. Together, they’ve raised three amazing children—24-year-old twins and a 19-year-old. With nearly two decades in ministry, Maureen has spent the last 17 years devoted to children’s ministry and has also been actively leading in women’s ministry for over five years. She’s passionate about her faith in Jesus, cherishes time with her family and friends, and enjoys boating and relaxing at the beach whenever she can.

Meghan Fitzpatrick

Meghan Fitzpatrick is a mom to three kids—an 8-year-old and 5-year-old twins—and part of a lively blended family with her wonderful husband, Christian. Raised in a military family, she moved often growing up but chose to make Jacksonville home in 2020 after many fond childhood memories here. Meghan has been a member of RCC since 2022 and has enjoyed serving in a variety of ministries within the church. She loves gardening, staying active, and spending time outdoors. She finds continual inspiration in 1 Corinthians 13 as a guide for leading with love.

CARE MINISTRIES

RCC has an extensive database of mental health, legal, financial, and social service professionals in the greater Jacksonville area.
