WHY THE CHANGE?

Thank you for your online contributions to RCC!  God has been so good to us, and we strive to be good stewards of the tithes and offerings we receive.  That said, we are changing the system for processing contributions to save money on the fees we are currently paying. While change is never easy, this change results in significant savings for RCC that can be used for Kingdom work.

WHAT’S NEXT?

If you currently give in-person or by mail, there is nothing for you to do. This transition only impacts online donations.

For anyone with a recurring (e.g., weekly, monthly, etc.) gift, please follow the instructions below to cancel your recurring gift with Breeze and set up your recurring gift with SubSplash.

If you routinely give online but do not have a recurring gift, you can follow Step Two – Create SubSplash Donation below.

TRANSITION RECURRING DONATIONS

STEP ONE – Cancel Breeze Recurring Donations

  • Access your Breeze giving profile by clicking here and logging in to your Breeze account.
  • From the Dashboard scroll to the bottom of the page and find the “Manage Recurring Giving” button in the Online Giving section.
  • Locate your recurring donation and click “change.”
  • Click “Stop Recurring Gift” then “Save Changes.”

STEP TWO – Create Subsplash Donation

  • Mobile App
    • Download and install RCC’s app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
    • Once installed, click the menu icon in the top-left corner and touch “Give.”
    • Enter the amount of your recurring gift, then click “Next.”
    • The Subsplash website will open in your browser and will ask you to sign up or log in. Select a method to create an account and follow the prompts to create the account and finish setting up your gift

  • Website
    • Enter an amount in the Give Now section above, then click “Next.”
    • You will then be prompted to sign up or log in.
    • Click “Sign Up” to continue through the process. You will be emailed a verification code to validate your email address. Enter that code on the screen and select “Next.”
    • Next, you can add your donation method. We recommend using a debit or credit card to start. Once you’ve given your first gift, you can start the process of linking your bank account to give future gifts via ACH. To learn how to add your bank account, click here.
    • Once you’ve added your card, you will be required to provide a mailing address. Once complete, you can review and complete your gift – you’re done!

Why the change?

RCC strives to be good stewards of all the resources God entrusts us with. A portion of every online gift RCC receives is paid as a transaction fee to the company that processes the transaction. Changing to Subsplash results in significant savings on every transaction that can be used for Kingdom work. 

What if I give by in-person or by mail with cash or check?

Thank you for your faithful giving! The switch to Subsplash will not impact the way you currently give. However, if you decide to switch to online giving through the website or mobile app you can follow the instructions on this page to set up a giving account.

I give online manually (not recurring/automated), what do I need to do?

Thank you for your faithful giving! The next time you make a contribution, follow the instructions above under Step Two – Create Subsplash Donation. This will guide you through the process of setting up a donation account and making a one-time or recurring donation.

What is the "cover processing fee" checkbox?

Every credit card or ACH (bank draft) transaction results in a fee for the company or organization collecting the transaction’s proceeds. RCC pays all fees associated with online gifts, which are subtracted from the donation. The “Cover Processing Fee” checkbox allows the donor to cover those fees, ensuring that 100% of their donation is received by RCC.

How do I change the settings for a recurring donation?

To make a change to your recurring donation, navigate to your profile by clicking “NEW SYSTEM – SUBSPLASH” on this page, clicking GIVE on RCC’s give page, or by clicking the give button on the mobile app. From there, you must log in to Subsplash to view and manage scheduled recurring donations. You can also view a history of all donations made since RCC transitioned to Subsplash.
