March 19, 2020
Based on our federal, state, and local officials’ recent updates, we have decided to suspend large gatherings on our campus indefinitely. We’re continuing to monitor the situation and are committed to keeping you informed as new information becomes available. We’ve launched a new online series called RCC 2U, so we can stay connected to God and one another through this crisis. Tune in daily to your favorite social media platform, or our website, at 2pm every day!
While we are not gathering together on our campus, we have not canceled church. Let’s all remain mindful that our church is not a building; WE are the church. We must find new and creative ways to stay engaged in our community.
Be sure to join us for online worship, but keep looking for ways to bless your neighbors and, most importantly – share the hope you have in Jesus. We have an incredible opportunity right now; while many around us will respond in fear, we will not – we will respond with FAITH!
What are the service times for RCC Online?
RCC Online will be available during our regular service times at 9:00 and 10:30 am every Sunday. You can access our live stream HERE, or you can join us on Facebook Live to interact with us live.
What does service look like for RCC Kids?
All programming for kids is temporarily suspended. All services will be family-friendly and families are encouraged to worship together either in-person or online. We will be handing out activity packets for kids who attend our on-campus services. Our Kids Ministry leaders will continue hosting a pre-recorded virtual bible class at 9:00am on the RCC Kids Facebook Group. For more information please contact Maureen Knotts email@example.com. Our children’s ministry leaders are passionate about plugging into community; please let us know how we can help you get connected.
What does service look like for Middle and High School students?
We encourage RCC Students to attend service with their parents, whether that be on campus or online.
REACH is being held every Sunday from 5-7 PM at the Student Ministry Room. Additionally, Student Leaders will be engaging with RCC Students on Instagram, Facebook and GroupMe. There are challenges, weekly devotionals, as well as encouragement and accountability within these threads. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
if you have any questions or if you would like to get plugged in.
Are RCC Events canceled?
While we are continuing to encourage social distancing, RCC is moving forward in faith and beginning to host small and large group gatherings on campus. Stay tuned to our website or reach out to RCC’s front office at 904-458-4809 or email email@example.com.
